NEW ORLEANS, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 – Tomorrow marks the beginning of the first annual FirstLine MLK Weekend Invitational Basketball Tournament. Come out and watch the best 7th & 8th grade boys & girls in the city compete in this city-wide championship.
WHEN: Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 5pm (four games); Friday, January 17, 2014 at 5pm (four games); and Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 9am (eight games). Admission is $3 per person, each day.
WHO: 11 Boys and Girls Teams are participating from the following schools; Langston Hughes Academy, John Dibert Community School, Esperanza Charter School (Boys team only), Fannie C. Williams Charter School (Boys team only), Samuel J Green Charter School, Arthur Ashe Charter School, & KIPP New Orleans Leadership Academy (Girls team only).
WHERE: All games will be held at Langston Hughes Academy, 3519 Trafalgar Street, New Orleans, 70119.
