NEW ORLEANS, LA, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 – All five FirstLine Schools public charter schools will remain closed through Friday, August 31.  This will allow all staff and families time to return to the city after the storm has passed and network personnel time to assess each school and ensure school facilities are ready to reopen for students on Tuesday, September 4.  FirstLine’s schools are: Samuel J. Green Charter School, Arthur Ashe Charter School, John Dibert Community School, Langston Hughes Academy, and Joseph S. Clark Preparatory High School.  We will resume school on Tuesday, September 4, following the Labor Day holiday.
