ASHE STUDENTS GO TO THE HORNETS GAME!

This past Monday March 25th, Ashe students who reached 100% completion of ST Math, as part of FirstLine's Personalized Learning Project, were rewarded with tickets to the New Orleans Hornets game.

As a reward for their success, Ashe students got to hang out with Hugo and watch as the Hornets took on the Los Angeles Clippers!

AWESOME ART AT LANGSTON HUGHES ACADEMY

Langston Hughes Academy sixth, seventh, and eighth grade boys worked together to create a large scale painting illustrating the theme of “Power of Community” for a competition. Students worked hard to complete the work in only 5 class periods! Additionally, the project taught students the necessary steps to complete a large-scale composition.
